Coach Brendon is a Round Rock native and a graduate from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Kinesiology. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, paddle-boarding, and running with his dog around Town Lake.
Hi Everyone! I am so excited for this summer swim season! This will be my 13th year with the Tidal Wave family, and my 8th year coaching. I started swimming when I was six years old. I was on the Varsity Swim Team all four years during high school. I advanced to Regionals my Sophomore through Senior years. Of course, that was a million years ago. I am now a mother of two Tidal Waves; and I teach 4th grade at Winkley Elementary School in Leander ISD. I love working with children, and getting them to believe in themselves. I know through dedication and hard work each Tidal Wave will reach whatever goal it is that they set for themselves. This is going to be an awesome season!
Coaching and swimming have been a part of my life for decades. I currently coach in middle school and have spent most of my career as a PE and athletic coach, ranging from kindergarteners to professional athletes. All three of my kids swim with the Tidal Waves. Through this team, I've seen them develop a love of self-improvement and physical activity, all while having fun doing so. I couldn't ask for a better team to be a part of.
Hi everyone! Swimming has been an important part of my life for four years now and has taught me so many valuable things: teamwork, good sportsmanship, and working hard to reach the goals that I'm passionate about. I'm currently swimming for Southwestern University. I swam for the Tidal Waves for four seasons, which has given me some of the best experiences and relationships I've ever had. I am so blessed to continue my time with this team as a coach!
Hi!! I am very excited to be starting another year coaching with the Tidal Waves although, it will be my 9th year coaching swimming. I started swimming when I was 6 years old and loved it so much that I joined a year round club team. I also swam at McNeil High School and then traveled to west Texas and swam all 4 years for McMurry University where we were NSISC champs my first 2 years. I coached the Forrest North Stingrays for 5 summers before my husband and I relocated to Michigan. There, I coached a year round club team for 2 years before starting our family. Flash forward a bit and we relocated back to Texas! I have four kiddos, two of which are now on the Tidal Waves. I love spending time with my family, going on little adventures and doing pretty much anything outdoors! I am very excited to be a part of this team and am looking forward to a great summer!!
