Tidal Waves Swim Team

Hi! I am Coach Tibbetts; and I am so happy to be coaching our Tidal Waves once again. 

This will be my 12th year coaching. My family has been with the Tidal Waves since 2009; and I started coaching in 2014, when my sons were 7 and 11. They are now 18 and 22! My son, Kyle, was 6 when he started swimming and ended his Tidal Wave career as a Tidal Wave coach. Ryan was 5 when he started swimming and ended his career as a Tidal Wave last year. He is a senior in high school this year. 

I was a swimmer growing up, and swam on the Kingwood High School Swim Team. I am a 3rd grade teacher at Winkley, and you might see me working at The HEB Center every now and then. I can’t wait to get this season started!

Hello, I am so excited to be back with the Tidal Waves after 7 years! For those of you who don't know me, I am Coach Katie. I have been a summer league swim coach for 10 years. I started swimming at the age of 6 when I needed something to do to keep me active during the summer. From the 1^st day I started, I loved the sport and continued swimming all the way through college. At the age of 18, I began my coaching career with the Tidal Waves. After 3 seasons, I interned at Walt Disney World and returned home slightly after the season started, so I moved to a different team. After that, I coached with them for 5 seasons and then was a head coach for the last two seasons. When I am not on the pool deck or in the pool, I am hanging out with my husband and my daughter, who we welcomed this past November! I am so excited to return to the Tidal Waves for a fun and fast summer!

I'm so excited to be back for another season! I swam with the tidal waves from ages 11-18, swam all through highschool, and this will be my fourth year coaching. This will be my last year coaching and I'm excited to make more memories, go waves!

Hi! I'm Noah Cruz and I am very ready to be back to coach with Tidal Waves again this season. I have been swimming with Tidal Waves since age 7, and I coached for the first time last summer, it was amazing being on the coaching side so I’m glad to continue this year. I am excited to meet the new swimmers, welcome back the returning swimmers, and see what we can accomplish this season.

Hey friends! I am Coach Lilly. I am so excited to be back this season! I swam on Tidal Waves for 5 years, swam all through high school, and have swam for 2 years at Hendrix College. I am so excited to get this season started. It will be a blast!! Go Tidal Waves!!
